古きもの・・・・忘れてはいけないもの・・・（その２）
今日は祭日出勤でした。「今日は何の日？」という話から・・・お年寄りから昔の話を聴いた。
今は11月２３日「勤労感謝の日」である。昔は「新嘗祭（にいなめさい）」と言ってたんだよ・・・とのこと。
昔はその日に天皇陛下が宮廷の中の田んぼで実際に稲を刈り、それを精米して今年取れた新米を食べるという日。今も宮廷の中ではやってる行事であろうと教えて下さった。
また新嘗祭とおんなじで１０月１７日は昔、祝日で「神嘗祭（かんなめさい）」と言って宮廷でとれた稲を伊勢神宮に納める日だったそうです。戦後、祭日とかも少なくなったとのこと。その理由は日本が戦争に負けたからとのこと。戦争に負けたことで天皇主体となる国の動きが変わってしまったと・・・・。
昔、祭日はきちんと意味のある国民の祝日だったということを知りました。
今、勤労感謝の日だからと言って感謝してますか？と言われてﾄﾞｷっとした。ただ単に祝日だｗｗｗ休みだｗｗｗとしか思っていない。祝日の意味なんて考える人は少ないだろう・・・・。何も考えてない自分が恥ずかしかった。
何故、戦後祝日が変化したことも昔の祝日の意味もそのことを知っている人は伝えなかったのだろうか・・・。
私達の親は戦後生まれた人も多いだろう・・・・。でも、祖父母はその時代で生きてきた人だった。
何故、昔のことを伝えないのだろうかと・・・・思い、その気持ちを素直に伝えたら、話をしてくれたお年寄りが言った。「だって、聞かないじゃない？？」と・・・・。
確かに昔の話をきくなんてことはしないからだろう・・・・でも、これは日本人で生きてく上では知っていて
当然の話ではないかなと思った。
また、その話の流れから今の人は簡単に命を捨てる・・・・何がつらいか知らないが簡単に命を捨てるなんて今の教育が悪い!!!と言っていた。今の先生は「君が代」を歌わないと・・・自分の国の国歌も歌わないなんて・・・・馬鹿げていると・・・・。
そんな考えをもつから子供らがおかしくなるんだと言っていた・・・。
後半は話が熱くなりすぎて少々私にはついていけなかったが・・・もっとお年寄りと話す場が今の若者にあれば・・・人に甘えたりすることや人を頼ることや一人では生きていけないということも知って・・・家族や友人などの大切さも簡単に感じることができるのかなと思った。
そんなことを考えた一日でした♪

確かに、子どもらにも教えてやったほうがいいよね。
明日、息子に話してみます。上手く話せるかしら？

年寄りのいる家族が少ない事が、本当の教育を荒廃させているのかもしれないですね。先人の人達の知恵、思いを聞く事によって形成される人格が無くてはいけないのでしょうね。
